This Blog has been Discontinued
This announcement is long overdue and probably goes without saying now.
This blog, all projects mentioned on this blog, and anything having to do with this blog has been shut down by me, its owner.
The reason I’m shutting all of this down is that this whole thing, all of it, is just a relic of an older life, now. I picked up some rather neat skills from it, sure, but this blog and these projects had a part in costing me so much that I can’t in good conscience ever allow it to happen again. It’s not compatible with the lifestyle of someone who wants to start a family, and the amount of time it took to maintain these projects and this blog cost me the love of my life. I will never forgive myself.
I considered deleting it, but the concept of that kind of bothers me. In light of the circumstances under which I abandoned these projects, I think a record of everything should be left up:
- To remind myself of the mistake I made, and
- To show others what should always be most important in life.
May you too find something, someday, that is as important to you as this family was to me, and may you never miss an opportunity to cherish it. I’m sorry, Courtney.
